Making the decision to undergo spine surgery is a significant step, before making that decision, patients naturally want to know what to expect.
At Stenum Hospital we believe the process should be clear, transparent and personally guided from the very beginning.
That’s why we have created a structured patient journey – from the first contact to the scheduling of your surgery.
Step One – Initial Inquiry
The patient submits a contact form.
Step Two – Response & Process Overview
The patient receives a response with information about the next steps, the images and documents required.
Step Three – Submission of Documents
The patient sends:
- the completed Data Sheet.
- current MRI images,
- current X-ray images,
MRI and X-ray images not older than 6 months (ideally in DICOM format).
Step Four – Medical Evaluation & Surgery Offer
The documents reviewed and are submitted to the orthopedic surgeon for medical evaluation.
The patient will then receive:
- a medical assessment
- a surgery offer.
Step Five – Schedule a Surgery Date
A suitable surgery date is agreed upon together.
All necessary contracts and consent forms are then send to the patient.
Travel and Hospital Arrival Day
Airport Transfer & travel planning are included
